Abstract:
Using Sepax Nanofilm SEC 150 chromatographic column and self made narrow distribution polyacrylic acid(PAA) standard sample, effects of different inorganic salts and their ionic strength as well as pH value on the separation of PAA were investigated. The results indicated that the different relative molecular masses of PAA with mass concentration of 05-20 g/L could be separated by using ionic strength of 010 mol/L and pH 69 phosphorous buffer as mobile phase, with a flow rate of 10 mL/min,column temperature of 25 ℃ and sample volume of 50 μL.Under the optimal chromatographic conditions, the relative molecular mass and its distribution of PAA sample were measured accurately by the asymptotic calibration method, and the difference between result of viscometric and GPC methods was less than 10%.
